Easy to find and park. Friendly receptionist. Warm, comfy and fairly quiet room (wind blowing a gale!). Can hear next doors tv at 00.12 :/ i never usually hear the neighbours unless they pass outside the door.
I really don't like going out of my way with a stop off en route to somewhere,so a Travelodge on motorway services,where I can pop on and off without any messing around is great. And I can take the dog Good room,clean,light,airy and spacious,TV, tea making facilities etc Bathroom had a shower in the bath set up,which got air locked but sorted itself out. Staff friendly and informative Right close by you could get hot food and drink if needed from the service's Given the price great value
I used this hotel to rest after a work day far from home. The service is good, bed is comfortable and I slept well. The rooms are a bit old, I would replace carpet on the floor and add some amenities such as champoo and shower gel.
Upon arrival, I met Laura, who was at her post. I was in a panic because of the situation with my Range Rover. All I can say is that Laura saved my son’s life and mine. We had been driving for five hours and had no energy left to keep our eyes open. Laura went out of her way to make sure we were safe and sound. Used her vehicle to block ours for a security measure, also I asked for a charger—bless her heart—and the angel that Laura is went above and beyond. Whoever knows Laura or works with her is truly blessed. She is a shimmer of light; her face lights up the room. I only wish I knew her personally or that she was my neighbour.or even better a family member to say the least Hand on heart, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for people like her. She protected my property and vehicle while we slept for a few hours. I can’t praise her enough—she deserves triple pay. People like this are rare nowadays. I would wholeheartedly trust her with my most precious belongings and my family. On the 26th of February, I met Laura — a truly special human being. Gorgeous, beautiful, and pure-hearted. Thank you, Laura. You are amazing, amazing, amazing. You are too good for this ugly world. Whoever meets you should feel honoured to know someone with a heart of pure platinum and gold. 100 hearts. We had a very pleasant stay at the Travelodge on Sunday, 18th January 2026 - after a long day of travelling. The receptionist was friendly and helpful during our late check-in, the room was extremely clean and quiet, and the bed very comfortable. I got a hairdryer from reception when required. They have a vehicle recognition system on check-in so you do not get charged for parking overnight. We could not believe how cheap the room rate was! We can highly recommend this hotel.
What a great overnight stop. Not been here before. The lovely lady on reception gave me a room at the back which was SO quiet. Nice view as well. This will definitely be my new stopover on my regular trips from Somerset to the Highlands. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Thank you
Great location for the South Lakes. Bit less costly than some of the other Cumbrian hotels. Beds are great. Staff very helpful. Rooms are fine, if fairly basic. Shower is hot and everything works - what more could you want?
It is a great travelodge in terms of the location. In addition to that, the service is exceptional at this travelodge. Laura and Natasha at the reception were fantastic receptionists. The service was exceptional. Laura was really both friendly and super helpful. Excellent service from Laura.
